Summary

INTER-OP is looking for a Engineering / LabVIEW developer to support Electronic Repair Facilities located in Baltimore MD.  The work will consist of designing, documenting and testing LabVIEW applications to test and repair electronic circuit cards utilizing Automated Test Equipment in a windows-based environment.

 

Requirements

    • Experience in designing, implementing, documenting and testing LabVIEW applications.
    • Assemble, configure, and interface PXI hardware systems and sub-systems into one complete, centralized automated testing console. Develop and interface existing hardware fixtures for automated testing of new circuit card assemblies to the ERF and develop and fabricate new test fixtures for testing development.
    • Perform engineering, reverse engineering, upgrades, and repairs of electronic circuit cards, cables, wiring harnesses, assemblies, and subassemblies as required.
    • Experience providing detailed circuit analysis, developing signal flow diagrams, schematics and replacement parts lists.
    • Work to research, engineer, develop, and perform technical field changes on equipment and systems.
    • Develop and perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing procedures and record all test results for each circuit card.
    • Maintain a complete record of all equipment, assemblies and subassembly transactions to include the date of receipt, serial number, work accomplished, and disposition of each item received using existing databases.

Minimum qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years' experience in designing, implementing, documenting and testing LabVIEW applications. LabVIEW  certified candidates are highly desirable.
    • Ability to assemble, configure and interface PXI hardware systems and sub-systems into one complete, centralized automated testing console Must be competent in developing and interfacing existing hardware fixtures for automated testing of new circuit card assemblies.
    • Must be competent in developing and fabricating new test fixtures for testing development.
    • Must be able to obtain J-STD-001 Certified IPC Specialist within 6 months.
    • Must be able to obtain IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification within 6 months.
    • Must be able to obtain IPC-7711/7721 certification within 1 year.
    • Must be able to obtain IPC-A-610 certification within 1 year.
